he Hobo-Dyer map projection is a modification of the 1910 Behrmann
cylindrical projection of the Earth. The name ‘Hobo-Dyer’ comes from the two
commissioners Bronstein and Abramms’ first names (Howard and Bob) and
the cartographer Mick Dyer’s surname. This map presents a different perspective
from more common non-equal area, north-up maps.
