Lesson hacks to make your classes more productive

Teaching teenagers in groups limits the amount of movement, noise and teacher attention to individual learners possible. The larger the group, the more challenging these limitations can be. A mixture of language levels and abilities often further complicates our work. In this session we shall look at small adjustments, that require very little planning or preparation, to help counterbalance the difficulties we face and make lessons more rewarding. The very practical techniques offered will improve engagement, productivity, recall, classroom dynamic and morale. While this session has been put together thinking of upper secondary students, many of the techniques will also work for younger teens and tweens. Suitable for both newer and more experienced teachers.
